Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is an ancient technique used for energy healing,  pain or stress reduction and improved overall health. The Japanese term “reiki” means universal life force.

People turn to Reiki for specific physical or emotional issues, as well as for a greater feeling of general well-being or relaxation.

What happens in a Reiki session?

You will usually be asked to lie down on a massage table, fully clothed except for shoes. We recommend you wear loose-fitting garments. You may also be asked to remove any jewelry for comfort and accessibility by the practitioner. During the 30-, 60- or 90-minute session, the practitioner will gently rest her hands on certain points on your body, such as head, shoulders, torso and legs, as energy flows to those areas.

Always focused on providing a personalized session, we can perform Reiki techniques with the client in a seated position on the massage table or in a chair, as needed. If you prefer, a touchless version is available, as well.
